Grief & Loss

You should move on soon, they say.

Im sorry that happened to you, but there'll be others! They offer.

When are you going to get back out there? A demand more than a question..

It's a big change, but dont worry, there's other paths! They point out.

When are you getting another pet, they ask three days later.

Be strong, move on.

Losing someone you love has no words.

There is a space between who you were, and who you are now, that has disappeared.

Collective grief can also be shared by everyone, and yet hard to talk about vulnerably.

Grief is multi faceted. It isn't just the one loss - it's all the other losses afterward, too.

Who you were with them. With that dream. With that life. With that future.

We need to be witnessed in our pain, understood. Acknowledged.

Often, those closest to us like our family, our friends - become strangers after the passing of a loved one or the change that unearths and breaks your whole life apart.

While, strangers can become the friends we need: witnessing & seeing where you are now.

Your experience mourning is public, but grieving is private, internal, and can go on for years.

Reach out when you're ready to be heard.
